Dr. Ratner received his medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine in 1989. From 1989 to 1993, Dr. Ratner completed an internship in Internal Medicine and a residency in Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Ratner completed a fellowship in Pain Management in 1994.
Dr. Ratner is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with an additional certification in Pain Management. From 1994 to May 1998, he held the positions of Instructor of Anesthesiology Pain Fellowship Director and Director of Pain Education at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
